Well, it is Friday

Thanks to Steve at BBC Mindgames for these tests… all I wanted was a couple of free copies of the magazines now that we’re doing the illustrations but I’m feeling rather Friday so…

Test 1

Overall score: 73% You’re a Freak!
Need to NOT conform: You like to be different than others around you.
Willingness to express dissent: You speak your mind freely, without giving thought to how others will react.

Which is not true, I swear. I do give thought to how others will react to what I say, its just that its usually not til after I’ve said it.

Also, is it pompous to be irritated by the split infinitive in the results of the above test? Probably.

Test 2

This theory classifies the main non-cognitive personality traits as:
0. Extroversion
0. Agreeableness
0. Conscientiousness
0. Emotional Stability
0. Intellect/Openness

Your Most Dominant Characteristic is: Intellect/Openness
Your Least Dominant Characteristic is: Extroversion

You will note the glossing-over of the whole Conscientiousness vibe, which is obviously just as well since I’m doing these at work.

Test 3

Left brain (result 48%) dominant individuals are more orderly, literal, articulate, and to the point. They are good at understanding directions and anything that is explicit and logical. They can have trouble comprehending emotions and abstract concepts, they can feel lost when things are not clear, doubting anything that is not stated and proven.

Right brain (result 52%) dominant individuals are more visual and intuitive. They are better at summarizing multiple points, picking up on what’s not said, visualizing things, and making things up. They can lack attention to detail, directness, organization, and the ability to explain their ideas verbally, leaving them unable to communicate effectively.

Overall, truce, you appear to have fairly Equal Hemispheres.

Hurray for me and my pretty equally rounded hemispheres. I think I’ll have a chocolate biccie to celebrate.

Isn’t the interweb marvellous?
